My dream was to always have a Tonk for a pet and about 14 years ago that dream came true. We have and still have our pet. He has been completly healthy and never had any issues with him. He is very verbal in the morning to make sure you give him attention, say good morning and don't forget his food. He has been a great pet and anyone considering a tonk, you would never ask for a better pet. When we had a baby, he would stand guard over her as if to protect her and when my baby was in crip sleeping, he would stand at door becoming very vocal if anyone outside of myself or my husband attempted to go into the room. He would never even attempt to jump in her crip - he would just stand on guard. :D

Hi Heather I just seen the write up in the paper . We just lost our cat Clancey he was 17. He was also half Burmese we got him from Peterbourgh. The Burmese are so smart and quite a good pal. I was wondering if you could send me some information on your cats . I don't really want to replace Clancey but I told my grandson about your cats and if they are anything like Clancey we could look into it . Maybe we could come and see them sometime my daughter lives in Elmira,My address is Box 237 Harriston Ontario N0G 1Z0 thankyou

Just wanted to say that we have owned many cats over the years but none as loving and healthy as the Tonk that we adopted from you. He is 17 years old and still "talks" up a storm, and lovingly head butts us and our dogs. "Snugglebuddy" has truly brightened our lives and we adore him! It's wonderful to find a breed that is both amazingly affectionate and healthy. We appreciate what a wonderful job you have done as a breeder!

Hi Heather! Just wanted to thank you again for Roman! He is such a special kitty! We can't believe how friendly and laid back he is. When we're out he just sleeps, doesn't cause any trouble and when we're home, he just wants to be at our side. We caught our three-year old daughter putting lip gloss and stickers on him this morning and he just purred, poor thing! Our son drags him around the entire house and he never hisses or anything! Meeting you and adopting Roman has been an excellent experience and we'd recommend you and your tonks to anyone! :)

Hi Heather, I just stumbled across your site while showing my little girl pictures of tonks. I have one of Mai Lings kittens her name is Emmy and she will be 15 in July. She is still very healthy and very vocal when she wants something. She is a wonderful cat and has become a wonderful friend to my 3 year old daughter. I was glad to come across your site because we will definetly be looking for another tonk when Emmy's time with us ends. Jennifer Aitken

Our infatuation with the Tonkinese breed has been a whirlwind. It was so exciting to meet Heather and her beautiful kittens and cats. The whole experience was positive and wonderful. Our new champagne mink girl, named Pearl is really a gem! She has quickly become a part of the family and we couldn't imagine life without her lively personality and stunning beauty. Thank you Heather, Susan & Tom
